The Port Crane Seniors meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Town of Fenton building in Port Crane with the meeting starting at 11:30 and lunch at 12:00. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service. Coffee and tea are available or bring your own cold drink if you prefer. In June, July and August the meetings are held in Otsiningo Park in the pavilion by the restrooms. The members bring food items, if they wish, for the St. Joseph's Church food pantry in Sanitaria Springs, items to Support our Troops four times a year, and Toys for Tots before the holidays. Call Thelma Skinner - 775-3325 for any questions. Once a year, usually in May, there is an AARP Driver's Training two day class for a reduction on auto insurance. The North Fenton Seniors meet on the first Tuesday of each month, with the meeting starting at 11:30 in the North Fenton Church on Rt. 79, except for June, August, and September when they meet in Chenango Valley State Park. In July, the meeting is held at the camp of Art and Joan Cade. Everyone brings a dish to pass and their own table service. Coffee is available when at the church, but bring your own drink at the park or if you prefer a cold drink. This group supports the food pantry at St. Joseph's Church in Sanitaria Springs and the CHOW food pantry of Broome County. Call Ruth McMullen 648-8425 for more information. Both of the groups have interesting things to do and fun.
